Moved abroad from Scotland, Orlando?
Does anyone know a good website or forum to give me some help on moving from Scotland to Orlando?
I do not mean to give you bad news .. But Orlando was not a good choice. Massive unemployment, high crime rates, not good public Transport, everything is spread far apart. Crime here in Orlando is not just in one area like most cities. It leaks in the areas of good .. I'm sure you are familiar with International Drive. The area was filled with an image of crime. My friend worked in the vicinity of the Wendy's Wet N Wild 'theme park and it ended with assault rifles robbed. Our local news is nothing more than rape, murder, murder, robbery. I lived there for 20 years and believe me, this is not a good place. If you like Florida. Moving to Miami. It could be a little more expensive, but it's a hell of a lot better than Orlando. To do more, better and safer public transport, even safer!
