Welcome to The Barbados Blog, a blog all about life in Barbados through the eyes of mine, Garry Wynters, an expat 38-year-old Scot. I am a fugitive rat race I'm looking for a change of scenery and a relaxed kind of lifestyle.
Barbados is very much my new home and I plan on sharing with the world; what this Caribbean island is a unique country and a great place to live in. I am definitely here to have the long-term, I have spent more than EUR 3500, to here at my flight, container and import duties on my property. There is no way I will leave Barbados in the near future.
Through The Barbados Blog I am sharing with the world my experiences good and bad about my adventures and experiences on the island. The goal of this blog is to provide that someone is interested or planning in Barbados Barbados visit a thorough insight into what works and what it has to offer.
In due course I plan on Barbados's blog, the number one Resource with respect to Barbados, for people here think about full-time and for tourists. This blog is much more than just the ramblings of Garry Wynters.
As I get more settled into life in Barbados, I plan on visiting all the sights, I will visit every beach that the island has to offer, I will so many good bars, rum shops and restaurants as I can, which will be obvious, especially in the name of research, I will also discuss life as it really is and work in Barbados.
What I will offer is an honest view of Barbados, so if I feel something deserves to be praised, I will do it, and also, if something is worthy of my anger, it certainly will not. The Barbados Blog welcomes comments and contributions from readers of this page, so if you have the feeling that to say something worth, here it can be.
